I've just tidied up my pages here at the old website, and now I won't have to be embarrassed if anyone sees them. Does anybody else remember that when we started working on websites years ago - 20? 15? - we would put a goofy animated .GIF on a page that wasn't done yet to show that the page was UNDER CONSTRUCTION? It seemed so clever at the time.
I need to fix the links on some of my pages, finish the writing on a couple of others, and , OH YEAH, start writing entries that are actually about Zentangle. As always ... mtf.

Today is Another Day
I've been able to get some things tidied up here without much work. I'm not unhappy with the template, except for one little detail. I've got some pages to edit and some pages to write. And in a few weeks, a new pattern to post, I hope!
Until then, I'll try to post often enough to turn this into something.

Moved
I've moved que sera tangles to a new address:
queseraczt.tumblr.com
Please find me there; I've got new stuff going on and I'm a CZT who is very eager to start sharing Zentangle with the world!

I am a ...
CZT!
No more details just now -- I'll be updating and correcting these pages while I start to arrange times and places for classes, get myself organized, and get back to the wonderful Zentangle group that meets every other week (but we've missed meetings with four of us going up to Providence for CZT seminars.) Can you tell I'm excited?
Work, work, work. I hope to be ready to go by mid-July. See you then.

Group
I love my Zentangle© Group!
We meet when we can, and each time, one of us presents a tangle or another idea for us to work with. This week, Patty showed us a pattern that had never piqued my interest before: Sh'rock.
Well. I practiced a bit and then I started the tile and then I drifted into that lovely place where my thoughts floated in and out and my pen moved on its own. I thought of Bob Ross, since I felt like I was making happy little Shamrocks. At some point, I decided to give the finished piece in a simple little frame to my mother-in-law for her birthday today.
An altogether lovely Z experience.

String Thing 32
This challenge asks us to use tanglepatterns string 024 and patterns that start with the letter W. I used Weft, Whistler, and Warble, none of which I had tried before. (I Wefted the string, more or less.)

Diva Challenge 159
I'm back, and it's a holiday challenge. I often have difficulty with these, but I do love St. Patrick's Day, even if my tile is not what one might expect this holiday to inspire.
Explanation: Afterglo is a very happy pattern to me; I love to do it and I love to look at tiles I've done it with. Poke-Leaf just means life to me; it's one of the few patterns that looks like a real object that I enjoy using.
And yes, this tile is all glitter, all the time. It's a very happy tile to me. (Although I have no idea if the glitter is going to show at all!)
On St. Patrick's Day, 1981, my perfect little first baby girl (who is ¼ Irish) was born. Many months earlier, when the Hubs and I broke the news of the impending first grandchild to his folks, I saw the "grandson" lights go on in his dad's eyes, but my 100% Irish mother-in-law said with no doubt "It'll be a girl, on St. Patrick's Day." And it was, and she is, and she was the light of Gramps' eye after all.
Ahem.
I like St. Patrick's Day, but there's not a bit of Irish in me. Not anymore, anyway.

TBT
I did manage to get most of the shoes done last night, but pictures will wait until they're all done. Til then, it's Throw Back Thursday.
These don't throw back very far; I made them for my grand-niece and grand-nephew and gave them out at Thanksgiving just past. They are quite small, 2 inches tall, I think, and framed. This as my first attempt at tangling over a water-painted background.
I'll come back and edit in all the pattern names after I've got it posted.

Whirr
I'm not taking a break, but I do feel like I'm spinning my wheels. For whatever medical reasons, plus the clock-changing that never settles right in for me, I'm not connecting with either the Diva Challenge or the String Thing Challenge this week.
I have a second pair of shoes I'd like to try, and if think I keep going over and over in my mind how I'm going to do that, and I can't seem to put pen to tile until I clear that out. Ah well. What will be will be.
