Throwback. uh, Saturday

Life got in the way of my z©-gling today, but I wanted to show you something, and I was thinking of starting a Throwback Thursday (the next time Thursday rolls around); anyway, I wrestled with Google + some more! and now I can post stuff.

This first one is one of the earliest tiles I completed.

It's a bookmark, or if you prefer, a thrifty use of scrap paper. I had very few real tiles at this point,band I wanted to practice a lot before I used them. I made a lot of practice bookmarks, and I'd had very little instruction. This was October 2012, within a week or two of my discovery of Zentangle©. While this is not a piece of trash, I see it as purely a practice piece. I don't even know the name of the third pattern.

One of my missions for tomorrow is to tidy up all my supplies, books, and materials. Who am I kidding?; I want to start packing for the seminar in June!
