Look!

It took months after getting the materials for me to feel ready to start this, but when I did it last night, it went much faster than I ever thought it would. Look!

It took about four hours, but I had most of it planned out ahead of time. (Although I changed things as I went along, because, after all, it is Zentangle©.)

My next step is to spray it with something so it doesn't all run if I go out in the rain -- they'll find me sitting on a rainy curb in Providence wearing suspiciously white shoes, and weeping -- and then to break them in a little bit. I don't know what I'll do next, but I did pick up a pair of black high-top Chuck Taylors © in Target this morning. :D
